The view looking across Méribel towards the Roc de Tougne. The two pistes in view above the chalet roofs on the left are the Stade (part of the 1992 Ladies' Downhill Olympic piste) and the Gelinotte which snakes down on the right.
We find this shot the most useful to see what the road conditions are like up in resort and if they are clear. We are pretty certain the road in the view is not heated!!

The view at La Chaudanne; the central lift station for Méribel. This is the true hub of the pistes with Méribel just visible in the background. La Chaudanne provides access to all the major lifts, car parking, kindergarten, lift-pass offices and multiple ski school meeting points.
The altitude is 1433m, just in case the snow looks a little thin at the end of the season - there is probably lots more snow higher up.
